i used to take alot of photographs, because i was intensely,
intensely in love with photography. and then life got busier and i stopped doing much of that (because i was always spending time on doing something that would directly benefit my work; in other words, i am a serious workaholic).
and then once in a while, i would get reminded.

i would start to remember how my heart always used to be on the verge of exploding.

R,
I am glad you like the pics. I felt the same way when I first saw them. His pics are amazing. That's what's so great about the world and the internet, you can feel your life becoming ordinary again or more pedestrian and you stumble onto something quite extraordinary. Something that can inspire you to greater things and to reach beyond your grasp.
Another note on the internet. One of the most amazing things about it is that it can connect you to someone else's world in an instant. I stumbled upon your sight and was immediately transported to life in Singapore and asia, and I can relate to the store and environment that you are creating; yet you can stumble onto things in the states, like the surfing cowboys store(which is a favorite of mine), and also relate. It's just really amazing when you think about.
Please keep up the great work!
Love the first pic! Thanks for sharing. I had the same experience with photography. Work robbed me of it and over time the desire just eroded. Now, with changes in my life, I hope to pick it up once again.
