i have always wanted to be a karung guni, to be going around, collecting other people's old clothes, old furniture, old magazines, driving around in my lorry, blasting out some good old rocking Beatles.

on 18 + 19 July, my dream will be coming true (sort of). we'll be holding the karung guni project, where we've invited some of our friends to set up shop in our little store, selling their old, used, 2nd-hand stuff. you may expect to find old design magazines, old notebooks, old cameras, old utensils, 2nd-hand CDs/DVDs/books....... and the list goes on!

with the garung guni project, we hope to breathe new life into these old, forgotten things.

we also encourage barter trading. if you have in your possession any wonderful, charming old stuff, please bring them along and try to exchange them in return for the used goods on sale!

please note, we will not be providing plastic bags that weekend, so please bring your own shopping bags!

oh, and of course we will play some good, old-school music. :)

PS: be warned, the karung guni project features strictly only old, used, 2nd-hand stuff! please know what you're getting into :)
