it wears me out, it wears me out

"blame it on the black star
blame it on the falling sky
blame it on the satellite that beams me home"

i came to Radiohead late. it was around early 2007 when i first fell in love with the band, a good decade after everyone else. for me, The Bends (their second album and arguably their most critically-acclaimed) instantly became a sort of belated soundtrack to my life. Fake Plastic Tree, Black Star, Nice Dream, High & Dry.....all of them were magic to me.

and of course i fell in love with Thom Yorke and the strange fragility in his voice, like a wall on the verge of falling over.

today, i put on his album The Eraser. as his fragile voice blended with the unsyncopated beats of his songs, and the rain outside fell quietly, a sudden understanding came over me.

for awhile, everything became clear to me.

sometimes i think we live for such moments in life.

I was not into indie english music initially. I used to have a collegue who luv playing radiohead and travis practically everyday in the office. And that was how i grown to love them.

Sometimes Someday i miss her now and then.
